Vet2Vet is a peer‑to‑peer referral programme for veterinary professionals: an Enalees customer can invite a colleague to discover our solutions. Once the referral is validated, both the referrer and the referred customer receive an advantage.
Any veterinary (B2B) customer with an Enalees account can refer a colleague. Activation is done from the customer area (often after a purchase).
Any veterinary (B2B) customer with an Enalees account can refer a colleague. Activation is done from the customer area (often after a purchase).
For each validated referral, the referrer receives a €250 (excl. VAT) discount voucher to use on a future online order. The referred customer also receives a €250 (excl. VAT) discount voucher on their first online order.
Yes. Vet2Vet vouchers can be used on orders of at least €500 (excl. VAT).
Two options: (1) Invite them from your Customer Account by entering their details. (2) Share your referral code (personalised code) via email, WhatsApp or social media.
A referral is considered validated when the referred customer joins the Vet2Vet programme and places their first order on the webshop (subject to the programme terms).
You can track everything from your Customer Account: number of referred colleagues, referral status and voucher availability. A confirmation email is sent when your reward becomes available.
From your account (Orders section), you can place the same order again using the “Reorder” button. You can also change the quantity of one or more products before checkout. If the product you want is no longer available, an alternative product may be suggested.
Enter the code in the dedicated field during checkout.
Availability is shown on each product page. If an item is out of stock, an alternative may be offered online. If needed, contact Customer Service to identify an equivalent solution or to find out the expected restock date.
In France, several payment methods are available at checkout.
1) Credit/debit card
We use Monetico Retail, a 100% French payment solution provided by CIC / Euro‑Information. It enables secure, instant payments (3D Secure v2). Card payment is the only option for countries outside France.
2) Direct debit
Direct debit is available in France only. You can complete the SEPA mandate online for the first use. At payment step, you can then choose direct debit or card.
If your payment fails, please note that it is not shop.enalees.com that approves or declines the transaction. The decision is made by your bank (based on creditworthiness and card usage history). Several reasons are possible. The most common is that your card limit is not high enough for the order amount (or due to the accumulation of recent payments). If you experience a payment failure, please contact your bank. France‑based customers can also set up online direct debit (SEPA) as an alternative.
When your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with the carrier details and your tracking number. Delivery times are usually 3–5 days. If delivery takes longer, we will contact you with an updated Etimate Time of Arrival (ETA). If you have any questions, please contact Customer Service via the contact form.
Shipping costs are £15 (excl. VAT) – free from £350 (excl. VAT).
United Kingdom: UPS. The carrier and tracking number are provided in the dispatch email.
Yes. We currently ship to France, the United Kingdom and Germany / the DACH region. For any other destination, please contact Customer Service so we can assess feasibility.
Return, withdrawal and complaint terms are detailed in our Terms & Conditions (T&Cs). In practice, please contact us as soon as possible via your Customer Account and provide: order number, product reference, batch/lot number (and photos if needed) so we can offer the most appropriate solution.
Test Navigator is a decision‑support module that guides you to the most appropriate Enalees test (panel or single test) based on species, observed symptoms and the available sample type. Alternative options to the recommended test may also be suggested.
It is designed for veterinarians and veterinary nurses to make it easier to select the right tests to order. Here is the steps to follow: 1) Select the species, 2) the suspected disease type, 3) the available sample matrix. The module then shows selectable pathogens and the corresponding tests.
The module offers available matrices depending on the context (e.g. swabs, blood, faeces, urine, effusion fluid). Choose the sample you actually have to obtain the most relevant recommendation.
No. Recommendations are indicative only. The final decision (test choice and clinical interpretation) remains the responsibility of the veterinarian.
No. A recommended test does not mean the pathogen(s) are present in the sample. Results depend on many factors (timing of sampling, quality/transport, pathogen load, etc.).
Yes. If you are a customer, an “Buy now” button takes you directly to the recommended tests so you can order online.
If no recommendation appears, please double‑check your selection (species/disease/sample type). If you are unsure, contact us and we will guide you to the most appropriate solution.
Use the contact/demo form or your usual Enalees support channel. We will help you choose the right test.
Enalees molecular diagnostic tests are based on LAMP technology (Loop‑mediated Isothermal Amplification). This isothermal amplification of the pathogen’s DNA or RNA offers four key benefits: specificity and sensitivity comparable to conventional PCR, combined with faster results and greater robustness—ideal for point‑of‑care veterinary testing.
Enalees’ solution enables you to confirm and differentiate a pathogen just 30–40 minutes after sampling (around 10 minutes for sample preparation and 20–30 minutes for analysis). Tests can be performed directly in your practice or in the field, allowing you to start treatment the same day, if appropriate.
Enalees tests are particularly useful when clinical signs (e.g. fever) suggest an infection and pathogens are present in one or more biological samples (blood, urine, etc.). Because the immune response is not immediately detectable, serology is often not suitable at the very start of infection. In early infection, molecular biology tests—such as Enalees tests—are the most effective for identifying the causative agent. Typically after one to two weeks (if the animal survives the infection), antibodies begin to appear, making serology possible. However, proof of infection usually requires two serological tests over time to demonstrate seroconversion. In contrast, Epona®, Astéria® and Rhéa® can be used from the beginning of infection because they detect the pathogen’s DNA or RNA directly.
From your Customer Account, you can access a form to send your request directly to Customer Service. Please remember to include your order number, product reference and batch/lot number, and—if relevant—the serial number of your Argos analyser.
Customer Service is available Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, via the contact form or by phone on +44 (0)1609 635 090.
The Epona® range is a series of equine veterinary diagnostic support tests. They are available as panels or single tests for detecting pathogens responsible for:
The Astéria® range is a series of canine and feline veterinary diagnostic support tests. They are available as panels or single tests for detecting pathogens responsible for:
A panel detects several pathogens in a single run. A single test targets one agent. The right choice depends on your clinical suspicion, possible co‑infections and your diagnostic strategy.
The Rhéa® range is a series of veterinary diagnostic support tests for livestock. They are available as panels or single tests for detecting pathogens responsible for respiratory and vector‑borne diseases:
Enalees also distributes Mastisensor® and Respisensor® tests.
We recommend wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (lab coat, disposable gloves changed frequently). Use a flat, clean and uncluttered work surface in a sheltered, enclosed area at 15–25°C. Do not use a test if the sachet has been open for more than 24 hours, regardless of storage temperature. Do not use a blood tube stored for more than 24 hours and/or stored below 4°C or above 25°C. Before opening the preparation tubes, make sure all liquid or lyophilised material is at the bottom of the tube. If needed, tap the tube downwards several times to bring any droplets back down. Do not leave the mini‑tubes in the analyser once the reaction is finished, and never reopen them once inserted—neither during nor after the run. Reopening may contaminate the environment and could lead to false‑positive results in subsequent tests. After testing, dispose of all sachet components according to local regulations (pipettes, swabs, preparation tubes and reaction mini‑tubes).
Blood samples must be collected in EDTA or heparin tubes (EDTA is preferred). The tube must be mixed (homogenised) before analysis.
Using an endogenous positive control, as in Epona® tests, shows that large cotton‑headed swabs (around 1 cm diameter) provide the best sample quality for molecular diagnostics—provided the swab is long enough to reach the nasopharyngeal wall. Swabs with a smaller cotton head (e.g. for genital sampling) collect less biological material. This negatively impacts the overall sensitivity of molecular biology tests (PCR and Enalees) and should not be used for this type of sampling.
Beyond swab type, sampling technique is critical. A dirty swab does not necessarily mean the sampling was done correctly: it may contain dust and nasal secretions but little biological material. As the nasopharyngeal wall is located below the horse’s eyes, almost the entire swab should be inside the nasal cavity during sampling.
We recommend equine swabs, available on our website (ref. 02‑10) or from other suppliers.
Tests can be stored for up to 2 years from the manufacturing date. The label on the outside of the box indicates the expiry date for each batch/lot. We recommend storing tests in a refrigerator at 4°C. Our tests are shipped at ambient temperature.
Reopening mini‑tubes after insertion may contaminate the environment and can cause false‑positive results in subsequent tests.
It is not necessary to change pipette tips when dispensing DNA into the mini‑tubes.
We recommend using our feline swabs (ref. 02‑13) for the Astéria® Respiratory Diseases panel.
