Upcoming BEVA CPD Events

As a recognized partner, we are excited to share the upcoming BEVA CPD events, which are a fantastic opportunity to expand your knowledge and skills:

Online Strangles CPD: 30th January 2025

Strangles - a word to make your heart sink. Hard to contain, with a significant impact on equine businesses and the witch hunt that can go with it. Previous vaccines have been hard to give, expensive for a useful course and caused reactions so historically have had poor uptake.

Nic de Brauwere, Richard Newton and Dave Rendle join us to discuss whether there is light at the end of the tunnel. Can the new vaccine be used in conjunction with the rest of the armoury to reduce outbreak severity and limit spread? Will it be increasingly possible for yards to continue to when strangles has been diagnosed? Should we be vaccinating rather than using serology to screen new cases? Where does vaccination sit in our biosecurity and management strategies?
